Japan is a Beauty.

So, I came across this beauty while searching for the Skull n' Sakura SATORI piece I saw 3 yrs ago. (all pieces are limited so once the design sells out, its gone). Nice deep threads. Out of the 10 new designs from SATORI, this one YELLED “METAL”. For years I have been trying to define Japanese Metal Style in a Fashion sense. Vintage Blue Jeans, Black Metal T-Shirt, and Ska-Jan. As far as shoes, still not sure. Lately getting back into the Converse Chuck Taylor style. The Vans Leather BLK/RED high tops released last year was pretty awesome. The best was the Vans Hosoi Rising Sun I wore-out last year. The next one in line is the Nike NYX Dunk Low Premium aka EVH still sitting in the box. As far as accessories go, a nice belt, the Snake Skin key chain made by EXIT Japan, some MIJ silver rings (next blog). In need of a MIJ wallet and chain. There were so many I chickened out this time around. Back to the SATORI Suka-Jan. What is a Suka-Jan? A Jacket with elaborately embroidered Japanese calligraphy and traditional motifs (tigers, cherry blossoms, dragons). I found the Skull n’ Sakura, the day before my trip ended. (pics to follow) The Skull on a Suka-Jan is relatively new. What makes these jackets over the top is that they are reversible. Some have completely different designs or in this case, the same design with different coloration.
