Nuno Bettencourt Selling some of his Guitars

Ebay is just amazing! I tend to search for random guitar related keyterms on the bay everyday. Yesterday I typed in "nuno washburn" and came across all these guitars owned by Nuno Bettencourt (ya, the More Than Words guy). To many he is a legendary Guitar Hero that introduced Funk Metal. With his successful 2009 reunion tour with Extreme (minus Paul Geary - the short haired drummer dude turned successful manager for Godsmack, Smashing Pumpkins, Fuel, Alter Bridge), and his most recent gig as the lead guitarist for Rihanna (the Chic that got her face beat in by then boy friend Chris Brown), why is he selling off his gear through a Music Store via Ebay? The most meaningful guitar of the bunch is the Red Mauradian guitar used during the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in England 1992. The rest just seem to be proto types from Washburn and two Zemaitis "Freebee" Guitars. In any case I wonder, why sell? Maybe He is just Spring cleaning. Too many guitars that he will never use. BTW the guitars go for 10 to 35k. WOW.
